Madelyn Pictures, Day 13-21

Everyone is sleeping like a baby

I've been up for a few hours watching Madelyn and everyone is sleeping
like a baby. We're off to Santa Rosa today to stay overnight at
Jodi's parents. On the way we will stop by the Tates to wish Greg a
happy birthday. I hope to catch some of the Masters this weekend.
Actually I lied, I know I will because I have live streaming on my
iPhone. I love technology.

Madelyn's 2nd week

Well, the Janzen family is just getting into the swing of things. We managed to make it thru the 2nd week of Madelyn's life, unscathed. Todd went back to work this week. So thank goodness that Grandma Carolyn was here helping us out for the week. It was absolutely wonderful to have her help and her company. Carolyn and I took Madelyn on her first shopping trip to Target. Of course, she didn't catch any of the good deals as she slept the whole way through!

I am happy now that Madelyn is feeding well and the cheeks are filling in. I'm loving this precious time bonding with her. Except of course, for the 3am feeding and then its more like a zombie feed session, skip the burping, and back to the bassinet sort of thing. My favorite thing this week is the little cooing sounds coming from the bassinet thru the night. ahhhh. If we could only bottle that preciousness so it could last forever!
