Happy Thanksgiving!

Time seems to be ticking by so fast! I am already almost at my third trimester. This week we did a lot of growing and it shows. The past weeks I've felt her start moving around and kicking. And she seems to have hiccups a lot!

I can't complain, pregnancy side effects have been mild. I have noticed though how I just crave desserts and chocolate, whereas I used to be able to restrain myself. This girl must like chocolate!

We are really excited for the holiday season!! We are taking off today up to my parents for a non-traditional Thanksgiving. We are going to a great italian restaurant near the coast with my parents and cousin and parents' friends. However, homemade dessert will not be overlooked. I am bringing my own cheesecake goodness!

On Sunday we will head down to San Luis Obispo for a relaxing three days. The trip is a reprieve from all the hard work Todd was up to last week at Dreamforce (his work's annual big conference). He was the star of the show in many respects and worked his tail feathers off. So we are headed for the slower life for a few days for his birthday. It's also probably the last time we will get away before the baby is born.

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Well I've just passed the first half mark of my pregnancy. Todd took this photo after my yoga class last week (21 weeks), I was very relaxed, so the tummy is as its full potential. I think I have finally "popped" as they say. People that help me at stores notice now that I'm pregnant. =)

Last weekend TJ and I took our first baby class. It was great information for me, as I have zero experience with little ones. The laboring seems scary to me right now, but its really thrilling at the same time.

Todd has been REALLY busy at work right now. He got home from work at midnight on Weds. night. Now is the time to do it! Not when the baby arrives.

He and I are so really happy right now. We can't wait to welcome baby Janzen into our home. Speaking of, we are having a total house day today. We will paint the baby's room, put in a new cat door, etc. I got the dresser from my mom yesterday that I will be refinishing and overhauling to use as the changing table. The crib and chair are on order! Everything is good!

We had an absolutely enjoyable weekend visiting Marisa & Nick two weekends ago. On Sunday we drove 1/2 hour outside Seattle and saw all the beautiful changing leaves. We had a wonderful brunch at Snoqualmie Lodge where there is a huge waterfall. It is beautiful!
